Won’t Cry

Yours truly says:

My mind once had no boundaries.

She bound me with arms that none could see.

Her wholesome embrace made out souls meet.

But today, her vacuum numbs me.

My love-child died before conception.

Her beauty pleased my eyes and heart.

Her hair resembled a dark waterfall.

Her eyes like twinkling stars,

that have now faded in the morning light.

In her absnce, I am naked in the winter.

I am thirsty in the summer.

The tree in my garden has shed all its leaves.

The bodies of my galaxy are now white dwarfs.

I grieve the fact that she isn’t with me.

But I won’t cry.

I am sad and I am empty.

But I won’t cry.

I miss her.

But I won’t cry.
